"A very nice place to stay. Very private with no traffic noise. The property was to a very high standard and well equipped. Parking was very secure and easy. The swimming pool was wonderful, clean and a good temperature. It is set in a beautifully landscaped garden. Very nice hosts and a most enjoyable stay."

"We can thoroughly recommend a holiday in this unique and beautifully restored early 18th century windmill with a stunning view over the Pont-du-Gard. It is only a short walk into the friendly and historic village with bars, post office and boulangerie. The owners were most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We will fondly remember the sound of the cicadas and sunset over the Pond-du-Gard. Thank you!"

"Nice property, pretty much as advertised. Owners were very communicative, helpful & pleasant, check in & out easy. The bed was really comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything you need from breakfast to evening meal. It has a nice terrace outside, but we didn’t use it to eat out on as the wind was unusually strong while we were there. I would imagine that in full summer, the shaded part of the terrace would give some welcome relief from the sun. The bathroom was good & it was nice to...

"The cabin is situated in the grounds of the manor house that once belonged to the author Laurence Durell. The hostess is amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Walk out of the secure grounds and you are in the old town of Sommieres, with its numerous restaurants and bars . This place could not score higher if you want a base to explore the area."
