"We stayed for one night while travelling to the ferry port. awe chose the Manoir because it was quiet and relaxing. The welcome was very warm and the accomodation gave us a different experience of and overnight stay. The town nearby gave many choices for an evening meal and looked like a nice place to spend a day or part of a day. Would recommend."

However, access to the rooms, set in an upper floor inserted into an old barn, is by steep and narrow stairs. The rooms have thin walls and the cheapest possible fittings, especially in the bathroom which did not even have a shower fitted to the wall but just an attachment to the bath taps.
