"The area is beautiful. An unspoilt part of France that has much to offer. Jenny our host lives next door to this traditional gite. She met us on arrival and was hugely welcoming. Throughout our stay she advised things to do and places to eat. We kayaked, hiked, climbed and went on the luge. The gite has all things you might need to stay. We often cooked at home. "According to Catherine, we were the first English to stay at the property. Presumably most Brits come to Normandy to see the Beaches and WW2 memorials. But there's so much more - and the very comfortable and well equipped la P'tite Maison provides an excellent base to visit towns like Bayeux, Caen and Falaise (with memories of conquests 900 years earlier), and attractive countryside like the Suisse Normande. Give it a try: we recommend it!"

"Très bien accueilli part la gentillesse, l'écoute de Celine la propriétaire du gîte. Avec en plus des petits présents offert a l'arrivée. Lit très confortable, ont y dort paisiblement. Endroit très calme, tv; les chaînes ne sont pas toutes accessibles. Cuisine très bien équipée rien à dire sur ça. Pour nôtre part ont n'a pas pu utiliser la piscine part faute de temp."

"We had a great two weeks staying this lovely property. All ammenities required were provided. Communication with Wayne, the owner, was fast and super helpful. It was so nice to sit in the garden during the evenings and watch the sun go down. The house was clean and spacious, the provided TV had UK channels which was a nice bonus. Thanks."

"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
