"We stayed here for two weeks in August 2024. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jean and his wife. Shown facilities were as stated and excellent. Gitè was clean and tidy and well equipped. Wonderful hosts loved it!"

"Gîte vraiment au calme et proche d’un axe permettant de rayonner très facilement sur l’ensemble de la région et bien plus. L’accueil des propriétaires et leurs conseils ont été appréciés. L’équipement est vraiment très complet, la piscine agréable et bien exposée. Nous avons très bien dormi et c’est important !"

"The gite was lovely and in a beautiful village with a number of restaurants within easy walking distance. Sylvie was very welcoming and always friendly. Unfortunately our visit was let down by three things. Firstly whilst on our arrival the pool side furniture was out and we were told we were welcome to use it, by the Monday, the loungers had been put away and the table and chairs covered. It would have been nice if they were put out each day. I suppose we could have asked, but felt...

"We had a great stay at this amazing place. This was exactly what we wanted- very nice accommodations, lots of space for our kids to explore, and a nice pool to cool off. Location was great for exploring the Loire valley, but you could also just spend the day relaxing at the pool! The gite is lovely- very nicely decorated, nice tall ceilings, lots of room, stayed cool in the heat. Every room had its own bathroom which was nice. Lovely deck with great views. Hosts were very friendly and helpful."

"A fascinating property with a history. Fabulous views of the chateau from the bedroom windows and from the courtyard. Right in the centre of Saumur, but had a large heated indoor swimming pool. The extra treat was the pool table and pinball machine. It was easy enough to reverse the cars into the courtyard with practice. It was lovely and convenient for restaurants, the chateau and the bakery. Gilles, our host was at the end of a phone if we needed him. Nicole the housekeeper made us welcome...

"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "
