"Das Haus ist ok, mit einer schönen Sonnenterasse. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist rustikal. Schönes Badezimmer, separates WC. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung liegt 50m vom Meer entfernt. Ein kleiner Yachthafen ist um die Ecke. Sehr ruhige Lage am Ortsrand. anäm Ortsrand der Orts"

"A little home from home. Very comfortable and welcoming. The amenities were fab. The little village had a very friendly bar a tremendous butcher with a huge range of products and a baker's shop with bread to die for. Carine and her daughter were extremely helpful. We will definately be going again."

"We arrived at the property to meet the house cleaner who did not speak English which made understanding the requirements challenging. The beds were not made and towels were not within the property and it seemed that we had to pay extra for these and had to make our own beds which was a surprise . We understood the requirement to leave €17 at the end of the visit for the cost of sheets and towels which we would not have expected. "This is the quietest holiday on record for us and we always look for quiet locations. The house is a charm and François and Claudine made for the most hospitable hosts. The Vendée has so much to offer and we loved the safe cycling on flat roads using the bikes that came with the property. It’s about an hour to La Rochelle and in east reach of many delightful villages. Highly recommended"

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...

"In a quiet area within easy walking of city centre, beaches, local shops. Could have been better if there was a bit more information about getting around eg buses, ferries, bikes etc. Staff always polite. "
