"Fabulous peaceful domaine located among vineyards. Isabelle is a very welcoming and gracious host. Room was large and comfortable with a private patio. Breakfast was bountiful with various fresh fruit, cheese, meats, homemade jams and freshly made cake. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning."

Unfortunely for me, my room was the one on the main road and I am a light sleeper, so sleep was not the best experience so agreed with host to reserve a room at the back of the Mas for my next stay. "This was the second time we stayed at gite la grave haute sud and it was just as amazing as the previous time. It’s a great spacious house with a beautiful garden and view. Very calm and private nook in the lovely Dordogne. The location is perfect if you want to discover everything the Dordogne has to offer or even for a day trip to Bordeaux. Felix was as attentive and nice as ever. We definitely want to visit a third time! "

"This is a lovely house in a beautiful rural setting. Our only recommendation to the property owners would be to update the bedding, specifically in the primary bedroom upstairs. The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Also, the description suggests it is a 4 minute walk to the National History Museum and 13 minute walk to the Les Eyzies train station. Unless there is a path through the woods that we did not find, the road to town is unwalkable and dangerous."
