"This accommodation was a stop over for travel from east to west in France. We wanted to keep away from towns and liked the idea of a in house dinner and breakfast. Both were superb . Our host filled the evening dinner time with many interesting tales and points of interest, in particular wine. The friendly St Bernard was also charming company during our meals."

"Lovely old building set in the heart of Cluny . Did not stay long enough to enjoy full potential. Both room could do with some shampoo and shower gel of some sort. Otherwise delightful ."

"Easy check in. Polite staff. Directed us to hotel parking precisely. Room small but functional. Nice bathroom, modern. Breakfast a good choice, but juice, eggs not replaced. Coffee was horrible. Left to stew. Hotel needs a proper coffee machine. Was only let down of this hotel. "

Perfect overnight stay.

"Looking for an overnight stop hotel. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly. Close to motorway exit. Easy to locate. Secure parking. Plenty of parking spaces. Easy check in and check out. Room functional. Clean. Good bathroom. Nice shower. On site restaurant for dinner and breakfast."

"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

Ibis Styles if you're not hungry but do need sleep

"The welcome and check in was excellent. The room was great and is the best Hotel bed I have ever slept in 5***** superb. We booked for dinner and on arrival shown to out table. We were presented with a QR code to use!? Being technophobes I asked to order and pay for food in the normal way - I was simply handed a itablet - no instruction and no-one attended us again so after 30 mins we left and used a restaurant along the street. Not very happy about this, there appeared to be only 2 people dealing with orders and serving running around in a chaotic way. The following morning I had an issue with my mobile phone and the reception desk lady bent over backwards to help. Thank you."
