"Friendly welcome and very comfortable room. The swimming pool is beautiful. Excellent breakfast. The kitchen area for guests is well-equipped and very useful. The local area is varied and interesting - off the beaten tourist track, but a must for wine-lovers. Good markets in local towns and villages, and Roman remains to explore. My second stay at Vieux Platanes, and I am sure to return."

"This Bed n Breakfast is operated by a young couple, and it is obvious they work very hard at it. Don't be put off by the rather shabby gate and parking area, which is the first thing one sees upon entering the property. After passing through to the rooms, swimming pool area, etc., the work put into making everything both stylish and comfortable jumps out at you. This is a sweet place to spend a night or two when passing through a beautiful and relatively untouristed part of France. Enjoy!"
