The answer is no. We were worried that we would be bored being in the same location for so many days, but in the end we wished we were staying longer.
Erics apartment is perfect location for exploring this historic village. The house has almost everything you need for a home base for your daily adventures. Eric was a perfect host, spending time with us during check in even after we were an hour late due to our plane delay. Eric also checked in with us during our stay via text to make sure we had everything we needed.
We ate breakfast in the apartment that consisted of baguette, tomato, cheese that we purchased at the nearby market with coffee, and the wonderful Apricot preserves that our host supplied.
I sure hope we make it back to St-Emilion some day. The food, the wine tastings and just walking and exploring the village was amazing.
Thank you Eric for sharing your Treasure's with us! I look forward to reminiscing about this trip for the rest of our lives.
PROS: Wine, food, history, exploring and adventures outside the door. Tuk Tuk Tours! Comfortable beds. Ensuite baths for both rooms. Just enough kitchen to make light meal.
CONS: Not recommended for children. Lack of washing machine.
