"This is a very old building and the condition reflects this. But it is well maintained and I love that its a bit creaky and shows the history of this distinguished establishment. Staff were very professional and welcoming and the food yesterday evening was a relief after a long day that I didn't have to leave to find something elsewhere. Breakfast (Full Welsh - vegetarian) was massive and kept me going all day"

"Big, clean and comfortable room overlooking lots of trees. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but you could have dinner at the bar. The spa was also closed, they did let us know when booking with a reminder a week or two before arrival, so it wasn’t a surprise when we got there. "

"What a spectacular setting! Secluded and quiet with beautiful walks through the forest alongside the estuary.
