"We adored this property! It was so beautiful and tranquil. It was so easy to travel to the D-sites and very close to Bayeux, our nearest gorgeous town. It was also very easy to get taxis. Even the drivers are really friendly. It was a very relaxing house. Fully recommend it!!"

The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. The communication with the owner was excellent from the time of the booking to the understanding and the support when I had to cancel at the last minute. "We really like this gite. Peaceful location, perfect for relaxation and local area is pretty with lots of nice villages and scenic drives. The weather is unpredictable, so an upgrade to the indoor seating would be nice for more comfort on rainy days. Overall, it's great!"

"What a wonderful place! We are a family of four and were worried that our two boys would run out of things to do but they loved it! The garden is big enough to explore, play football, badminton and get lost in. The swing and outdoor shower were an added bonus. The house is perfectly located 1hr from Caen, 20 minutes from Vire and an easy drive to the D day beaches.
