"Super cool building and staff was amazingly friendly . Check in and out is quick. Restaurant has a great dinner menu, breakfast was free and very tasty. Both women that work the hotel and restaurant were very helpful. It's right on the Main Street and walkable to many shops and restaurants. Only downside was we stayed in one of the rooms above the bar ( you can hear the noise) and facing the street ( you can hear the cars). If you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest the other building , but would definitely come back. A fun app on your phone gives the history of the building and the people who have been there. "

"Hotel was amazing. Only issue was roomservice never came by. I asked them to stop by as i caught them on my floor and they just took the trash out and thats all. Still dirty towels on the floor. "

"The property is beautifully maintained, the historical tales are wonderfully manifested by Paul (the proprietor), and the immersive tour was incredibly well done. You can truly feel the presence of the past in the rooms and grounds and it's obvious that this treasure is in the right hands to ensure it remains a part of legend and history. "

"This unit is perfectly situated on the main drag in downtown Bardstown. It is walkable to many restaurants and shops. We popped out the front door and had breakfast, lunch, and dinner options within a few steps.The unit itself is very comfortable and well-appointed. The bedrooms were on the smaller side, and the beds were comfortable. The sitting area and kitchen had everything we needed as well. The in-unit washer and dryer were a great addition.The parking in the rear is very convenient, with a reserved space next to the stairs and plentiful additional parking available if you have more than one vehicle. It's a quick drive to several distilleries in the area as well, if that's the purpose of your visit (it was for ours). Additionally, the liquor store downstairs has great prices if you want to taste/tour at the distilleries then buy later.I'd highly recommend this apartment, and will rent again upon our return trips!"
