"Quiet, countryside property. Lovely swimming pool. Comfortable, well equipped gite. Good to have some English TV channels as well as French. The only disadvantage was that the Wi-Fi signal was poor in the first few days and then totally non-existent in the next week. There was also no phone signal so could not use internet at all for most of the time. It was about an hour’s drive to several interesting small towns, chateaux and caves. Local lake was nice for picnics and walks."

"We stayed here in July for one night and it was like being invited to a house party. The welcome could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was perfect and the little terrace was bathed with early evening sunshine, very pleasant. The Air con was very welcome later though. We didn't have the evening meal but it smelled delicious!! Breakfast was exactly what we needed. it was ideal and a lovely change from a chain hotel. Thanks, A little Gem!! "

"I had a great time staying with Virginie and Jennie at Sur le Chemin des Sens. Its the perfect place for relaxing and the food is outstanding. I don't think I've ever felt so 'at home' away from home and the commitment and passion to making every guest feel very welcome is obvious. "Beautiful cottage just outside of town. Had everything we needed to stay comfortably and even cook our own breakfast. Hosts were gracious and conveyed everything we needed to know even though they spoke very little English and we speak NO French! No AC but we were comfortable with the fan even during a heat wave."
