"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."

"Lovely modern gite in the heart of Ardeche and equiped to a high standard. The driveway is a bit steep for a low profile car, mine ended up with scrapes under the bumpers but with care it was possible to monoeuvre. In truth the only real downer was the pool which is the largest I've ever seen for the sole use of a single gite but was simply too cold. I was assured the pool was heated but you couldn't tell, such a shame."

"We (2 adults, 2 children) stayed in this property for a week in August. The property was very clean and everything was in good working order. Night-time and early morning temperatures were low due to the altitude, but it soon warmed up and by lunchtime it was quite hot. Le Chambon-sur-Lignon is quite small, but it has all the shops you might need during your stay (bakers, supermarkets, ice-cream parlours, pharmacy, etc.). Propriétaires agréables, à l'écoute et n'hésitant pas à vous aider en cas de besoin. Maison très propre avec tout le confort nécessaire. Il faut juste prévoir des draps en 160 cm pour l'une des chambres. La rénovation des chambres est parfaite. Je recommande ce séjour, la vue est magnifique à n'importe quelle heure de la journée."
