"this is not an hotel. you have to make your own bed, they do not provide any towel, and there is a note asking you to take out the bedsheets and clean before you leave. It is kind of a camping site composed of cheaply made bungalows, more or less clean, 2 bedrooms + 1 sofa, 6 persons total, furnished, equipped, dishes and pans. There is a bar restaurant on site with which we had to negotiate to get a breakfast (they didn't have enough baguette for us + the rest of their day!) if you...

"We had a wonderful week at this beautiful gite. Brigitte and Lionel were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The gite itself and grounds are beautifully maintained - we felt super relaxed when we left having spent the week swimming, lying in hammocks and exploring the nature in the garden. "Staff good . Bedding clean and comfortable. Air conditioning not working, mouldy shower ceiling, carpet very worn. Whole hotel needs a revamp. Breakfast buffet not great choice. Overpriced. Car parking very easy and hotel was not noisy. Would not use again unless keen to stay in Parthenay."

"We stayed at the hotel as part of a long drive back from the South West of France. The people working at the hotel were super helpful, providing an option to manage our late arrival, providing breakfast at short notice and helping with any questions we had. The family room we stayed in was large and easily accommodate two adults and two kids. "

Good, but overrated

"Beautiful estate with massive potential, but comes up short in the quality of the accommodations. The room was a little stuffy, and there is no air conditioning which made for a rough nights sleep. The highlight of our visit was the amazing dining experience and the overall excellent service from the staff. "
