"We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us. The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...

"Veronique was a great host - nothing seemed to much trouble. Our room was spacious and well laid out. Breakfast in her kitchen (as it was raining) gave us a chance to 'chat' with her good English and our poor French - great fun!"

"From our arrival to our departure, Eric the host, could not have been more helpful. The property is easy to find at the end of a small lane with extensive grounds. Eric had prepared a list of recommended restaurants in the area, which is helpful. The room was quiet and spacious. "This is a nice setting in the middle of nowhere in the Normandy countryside.The owner seems very nice and friendly however it seems he is running this place alone and is working a full time job.I made the booking the same day and vlearly he hadn’t noticed it.Having finally managed to rouse him to open the door I was told room wasn't ready yet -it was around 6.30 PM ( my bedding was hanging on the washing line ) and as he was unprepared for me there would be nothing for Breakfast as the...
