"My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay for a long weekend away from Paris. The property is very well maintained and is well situated for exploring the Normandy area. It's great for small kids in particular, as you have a private yard with a playground and sand pit. In addition, the accommodation is located on a farm with animals, which my children enjoyed observing. My only feedback for the owners would be to make clear on the website the additional charges for sheets, towels, electricity, and...

"This was absolutely what we wanted, a nice quiet place - the garden is so big it felt like our own secluded woodland. Nice countryside nearby - try Cleres, Pavilly, and the wooded valleys locally. Rouen's a short drive, lots of other charming places only a little further away.. If you don't speak any French I expect Sandrine's enthusiasm and welcoming approach will still sail through the language barrier. Loved it."

"Christine has transformed her little workshop into a gem of an accomodation, very comfortably furnished and artistically decorated with her husband's artwork. But perhaps the best part of this little gem is the surrounding gardens. All designed and cared for by Christine. As a gardener she is every bit an artist as her husband. "We had 3 lovely nights at Janine's apartment, and Janine was delightful to work with. The apartment was cozy, and it was only a 15 minute drive to the heart of Rouen. It was ideal to be so close to the city, yet in a quiet smaller area. The apartment was very comfortable and furnished nicely, very clean & tidy. We'd love to visit again! Thank you, Janine!"

"Lovely spacious property with four bedrooms, three bathrooms plus separate toilets and big open plan kitchen/dining/living room. Property is ideal in good weather if you predominantly want to be in the property and go for walks locally. There is a Carrefour within a 5 min drive. There is little else locally in terms of places to go to eat and drink, however. Most places we wanted to explore were a reasonable drive away but Rouen is only around 30 mins. The Owner was very hospitable."

"Le gîte porte bien son nom. Un séjour très court, seulement sur 2 jours avec un accueil et des services irréprochables. La propriétaire de la maison est très agréable, disponible, toujours prête à rendre service. La maison est rangée avec goût, il ne manque rien, tout est impeccable. C'est la maison idéale pour une famille. Ce doit être encore plus sympa aux beaux jours. Nous tâcherons d'y revenir."

The hostess was very friendly and helpful, very responsive. She gave us an excellent list of restaurants to choose from in the surrounding area. Brasserie Paul and La Terrasse were both exceptional. "The house is a large, beautiful gite with everything we required for our stay; good facilities, clean and a well maintained pool on a daily basis. The property is situated on a hill side allowing for unspoilt scenery in the sunshine. The owners were incredibly helpful, had very speedy responses and allowed us to book on the day! Keen to meet our needs on arrival and could be contacted throughout the stay. Pavilly, a small town is 4km in distance with a supermarket, garage, pharmacy etc....

"Plenty of room for 6 people - 2 couples and 2 singles. The remodeled house is part of a much larger estate, a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip. We were all very comfortable here and enjoyed our stay. If you plan to stay here follow the owners directions carefully - gps routing will not work well since the side road it is on is not on the map."
