The house is old and needs some renovations, but the rooms are very big and there is a lot of space for everyone. The area is very calm and there is lots of activities in the area."

"We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in dit huis! Het welkom door de agent (met vertaler) was heel vriendelijk en met een heerlijk welkomstcadeau. Aan de foto’s op de site was te zien, dat het interieur gedateerd is, maar het huis is goed onderhouden en schoon. De woonruimtes en slaapkamers zijn heerlijk ruim. Fijn ook de luiken voor de ramen. Het zwembad en de tuin is fantastisch voor ons en de kinderen hebben er erg van genoten! "

"Montcuq is such a pretty place and this is a lovely house to stay in. The house is just a few minutes walk to a fantastic boulangerie and you can wander to restaurants and cafes and watch the world go by, all without having to drive. The house is spacious and nicely decorated, with everything you can think of for a great stay. It has a massive garden and outbuildings, so perfedt for a family. We will return, but with the whole family, as there's so many areas to relax in. A real find."

Outre le manque de propreté et des toiles d'araignée, il manquait des verres (Obligé d'en acheter), il y avait qu'un seul parasol (Autour de la table) et aucun autour de la piscine (Difficile d'en profiter..). De la même manière, pas de panier à linge, de produits désinfectants, de serpillères et au niveau de la cuisine, il n'y avait...

Les T° ne nous ont pas permis de profiter de la piscine mais il y a tant à faire que ce n'est pas grave! Le gîte contient tous les équipements nécéssaires et est fidèle à la description. "

Le domaine comprend un bâtiment dortoir, une annexe plus intimiste, une grande grange aménagée en salle de soirée et est accompagné de tous les équipements de loisir imaginables : cours de tennis, piscine, ping pong, baby foot, immense TV, frigo industriel, barbecue... "This is an annexe that has the owners stamp on it and is all the better for it. As a bijou gite for 1 or 2 people it’s ideal. Albas is a fabulous location with easy access to the river, cycle routes and the vineyards. The whole area is utterly gorgeous! The sheltered terrace is lovely private space and you get a real sense of being part of the village. The walk behind the house up to the table d’orientation is well worth it, as is the red wine produced from the local vineyard. Sylvain the owner...
