"A bucolic B&B steps away from the walled city of Avignon. Host/Owner Brian is a delight - friendly and warm while going the extra mile to ensure his guests have a peaceful stay. Rooms are nicely decorated and you feel as though you’re in a well appointed suite of a friend’s home rather than a hotel/B&B. "I had a wonderful stay here, and the hosts went above and beyond. When my taxi driver cancelled on me at the last minute and I missed my train to Barcelona, Sarah helped me find another solution and let me stay past checkout time to figure it all out. I could not recommend them more!"

"we had an amazing stay in a one of 5 bedrooms in an old converted terrace in a very small french village setting. Breakfast was included and made by the elderly lady who owns the property. It was such a pleasant place to stay and central for visiting sites such as Pont du Gard. We travel a lot in europe and will certainly include this property again "

"Friendly welcome and very comfortable room. The swimming pool is beautiful. Excellent breakfast. The kitchen area for guests is well-equipped and very useful. The local area is varied and interesting - off the beaten tourist track, but a must for wine-lovers. Good markets in local towns and villages, and Roman remains to explore. My second stay at Vieux Platanes, and I am sure to return."
