"We were there for a family wedding. The bed and breakfast place worked for us. We were so busy with family, we didn't spend too much time at the house. When we were there, we didn't see or hear our host. So we didn't feel we were being a bother to her. This is our first time at a bed and breakfast and it was a concern as to how this worked. Lilac was very welcoming and breakfast was nice. The house is located within 5 mins of all the cute shops. We enjoyed our stay."

"Knob Hill is a beautiful, gracious home in a lovely neighborhood in Flint. Diana is a born host and a wonderful cook. She makes a delicious, generous hot breakfast each morning - for example, a cheese souffle, candied bacon, and a fresh baked muffin, with coffee and juice. She even provides complimentary wine and chocolates. The bed was comfy and everything was clean and well-appointed. This must surely be the nicest place to stay in Flint. "

"Booked the house for 5 people instead of a hotel. It was a better experience then a hotel stay. The house was very clean, decorated tastefully for the holidays. Had enough hot water, towels, dishes in the kitchen, places to sit and visit. Neighborhood was quiet. The place helped to keep a stressful weekend fun. "
