"Beautiful traditional Japanese Inn. Long history behind the inn nicely updated. Incredibly kind and helpful staff. The service of the traditional dinner in our room was above and beyond. We didn’t always know why we were eating but we did try everything. The hot bathing tub and outdoor shower were lovely and private. Nice amenities for the room. For US travelers the futon mats could have been a little thicker and the pillows were definitely unusual for us but obviously traditional. Breakfast...

"以前にも泊まった事があり、食事が最高に美味しかったのでまた行きました。相変わらず晩ご飯も朝ご飯も大満足でした。晩ご飯は個室で食べられらるのでゆっくり落ち着いて食べられました。お風呂場は少し狭く古いですが、部屋は綺麗にしてますし、枕も良くてしっかり寝れました。また行きたいです。"

"クーラーの清掃をしてないのか、つけたらカビ臭い臭いがした。 一部の客は、マスクせずチェックイン。共有スペースでのマスク着用無し感染対策がなされていない。 食事時、家族連れの母親と子供が炊飯器や味噌汁鍋の蓋を開けたまま、マスクせずに炊飯器や鍋越しに会話していて、御飯と味噌汁(初回)を食べたかったが感染リスクを考え食べなかった。御飯はお櫃、味噌汁は食事時に配膳して欲しい。せっかく楽しみにしていたが、食欲が無くなりました。食事の時、改善してもらいたい。"

"The hotel is located next to Yahiko Shrine. In February, the area is a little too quite but it was okay for me to walk around and soak in the hot spring. There is very little mass transportation to get there. It’s a good place for healing. "

"We had a very pleasant stay for two days here. The staff were wonderfully friendly. The place itself is a bit dated, but has a certain Showa-Era charm. Personally I found the futons a bit thin. The breakfast buffet — mainly Japanese, but with a few western options — was very good. The only real drawback in the morning was the lack of coffee, which was not available in the rooms or at the buffet, only in the lobby lounge, and for an additional fee. We got dinners included, and no real complaints...

"５人の50代の仲間で宿泊しました。 到着して、正面玄関から入った途端、囲炉裏端の素敵な景色に歓声が上がりました。 広いです。５人なら余裕あり過ぎるくらいでした。 よく掃除も行き届いており、気持ちよく滞在できました。 お風呂や洗面所、キッチンなど水回りがキレイで、アメニティや調理器具なども足りないものはなかったです。 囲炉裏や昔ながらの仏間、応接間で佐渡の古民家の情緒を味わえるだけでなく、現代風なダイニングやキッチンの利便性も確保されていたり、おしゃれなサウナがついているのもポイント高いです。 検索した魚屋さんで、鮮度抜群の刺身盛り合わせやイカゲソをたっぷり買い込み、地元スーパーでも食材を買って楽しみました。 歴史ある古民家のため、駐車スペースは狭いです。 大きめのワンボックスカーを停めましたが、何度も切り返しながら駐車した感じです。小型車の方が駐車には向いています。 朝はすぐ近くの河崎神社や真更城址まで散歩し、海も間近で爽やかでした。 ２泊しましたが、もっとゆっくり滞在したいくらい、お気に入りの宿になりました。 ありがとうございました。"

"民泊なので仕方ないのかもしれませんが、 「給湯に時間を要します」との記載があったが、シャーワーを浴びて1分もしないうちに水となり寒くてお湯が出るまで待っていたが、5分待てども一向にお湯が出ないので、冷水のまま流しました。 　部屋の鍵は一般家庭にある外からコインで開けられるような鍵に、不安な方は古い南京錠を外から付けるようなタイプです。 　あまりそういう状況はないかもしれませんが、１人が先に南京錠を外からかけると、中の人は閉じ込められて出られません。 飲食店も佐渡島事態が閉店が早いですが、20時には閉店時間となるところが多く、近場のお店へは階段のある坂道を片道15分位は歩くことになります。帰りは登りの階段と坂道なので更にかかります。 コンビニは片道25分程度でしょうか。 とてつもなく不便な場所なので、全てを終えて寝るだけと考えた方が良いでしょう。 　翌日風邪をこじらせた因果関係はわかりませんが、二度と泊まりたくはありません。"
