We truly enjoyed our getaway to Oracle and this wonderful property. The view from the patio says it all....idyllic setting for morning coffee or an evening toast. Jerry was kind enough to allow us to stay there even though the dates were marked as 'booked', I asked & he opened the week up for us.
The neighborhood is very peaceful/quiet, lots of singing birds, Road Runners, deer and other wildlife right out the back door.
The other amenities (several pools, fitness centers, jacuzzis, saunas) were sparkling & relatively uncrowded. The only bummer was that we were looking forward to playing pickleball but were met by some unfriendly 'HOA type' residents who were quick to let us know that since we weren't homeowners we were not welcome to play there during prime time (mornings/evenings, when it was cooler)....would have been good to know beforehand.
There were lots of other fun things to do in Oracle as well- off-roading up Mt. Lemmon and visiting the Biosphere & Collosal Cave.
I would highly recommend staying at Jerry's place if you enjoy peace, nature, and the desert lifestyle.
