Guests are given a contact number, but get hung up on if they ring it. On the plus side, the bed was reasonably comfortable. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else."

"We loved everything about our stay! The apartment was very neat and clean. Nothing missing, plenty of room for our belongings. Only necessary items around. "Communication with the host (Hanny) was very good. She responded promptly after we requested information a few days prior to our stay via e-mail. The location of the appartement is away from the village of Marbach going up the mountain (you need a car to get there). The appartment is on the top floor of the farm house. "Cannot say enough good things, we loved our stay at this property. The balcony was amazing and the ability to open windows was great. There was a drying rack on the balcony that I could use to air dry some clothes that I hand washed as well. The AC cooled the apartment well after some time to catch up. "The property manager was very helpful, even with two English speakers who only knew a bit of German. She was communicative by e-mail and very friendly. The place was clean, and the views on the patio were incredible. The studio is accessible by a nearby bus stop, but the bus does not run all times of the day, so this was sometimes inconvenient as the location is atop a big hill from Sarnen. There was no shampoo or soap given in the bathroom so be sure to bring your own. Wifi was free and snacks...

"This location is a bit up the mountain (I'm sure it is fantastic for skiing but we visited in August). As such, it is away from the nutty tourist centre and the views are fantastic. The local bus service is super efficient and a brilliant way to get to the top if you do not want to hike the slope up. The flat itself is spacious and bright. It was amenable to self-catering, and had excellent laundry facilities."
