"This is a lovely place to stay Off the beaten track. The property is clean and pleasant with a load of facilities. The breakfast was great. The nearest restaurant is a few miles away. There is , however , a menu for a local restaurant that will deliver meals. Make sure you read the emails as the place inst always staffed and the instructions on how to get into the property and room are in the email "

The house is remarkable (inner courtyard, fireplaces in the rooms, lovely dining area) surrounded by pristine fields and orchards. We received first-rate service and hospitality. "This was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. Not only the rooms were very comfortable and clean, but the owners made us truly feel at home. We had a lovely dinner in town the night we arrived, and met them at reception for some of their homemade fruit liquor and a lovely chat in front of the fireplace with the whole family. Breakfast was fantastic! They offered a great variety of traditional homemade breads made in an oven used for many generations, artisanal cheeses, jams, biscuits...

"Luna Chalet are rustic chalets, and I must admit that the unit given to us was very comfortable with great views. Nice bedding, good towels, all dishes and soap needed. The only negative is that they supply the nespresso type machines but with no pods. It would have been nice to have coffee in the morning. A lot of channels on the television also. I strongly recommend the chalet. "
