Great hiking and swimming in mountain lakes. Very near the wine route. Lovely visit and clean accommodation. Would go here again!"

"Our experience at Daniele and Pascal’s house in Thannenkirch was a 5-star experience. Daniele and Pascal were charming, generous, friendly, and helpful which, of course, helped make our stay a memorable one. The house itself is a gem and we didn’t lack for anything. It’s close to most areas of interest in the Grand-Est and the beauty of the region filled our hearts. We can’t say enough about our 3 weeks at La Randonnee – highly, highly recommend it. Thank you very much, Daniele and Pascal!"

"8 of us stayed and found the property exactly as detailed. Bedrooms were all large with comfortable beds and excellent bedding, bathrooms with great showers. Really well equipped inside and out with good quality throughout. Brilliant location - 15min walk to town centre, 2 mins to large Leclerc, great for a base to explore the wine route. We were delighted with our 4 night stay and great communication with our host Jean Claude 👍"

"The stay was quite pleasant except for one evening. We had told the owners we were staying with family for a night but plans changed. When we got home we had no heat for the evening but it was too late to contact them. It would have been nice to have some control over the heat since one of the parties was older and handicapped. Other than that, the place was very clean - perfect for 2 people. "

"First, as travelers from the US, we are used to having a lot of space. This house had plenty of it and it was perfect for our family of 6. It was very clean and Christian was super nice and responsive. We would return without question. We had a car rented which I highly recommend. Now…Keintzheim…what a gem. This cute little town was great. 2 amazing restaurants, walkable, and very residential. It is very much different than surrounding towns. We found if we wanted to “go out” we would go to...

"We enjoyed our stay as a family. Just a misunderstanding about the supply of towels. Coming from New Zealand we expected them to be automatically supplied. Sebastien kindly sorted it though. Enjoyed village and surrounding area was very interesting. Great castles and historic ww1 sites. Thanks."

"The location was perfect for our stay and the apartment was lovely and roomy. We did day trips through the region and a wonderful BBQ supper at the apartment."

"We picked this house for a family reunion and to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. We couldn't have chosen anything better. The house itself is lovely with 5 good bedrooms, a spacious dining room and plenty of outside seating on the terrace. The best feature though is the garden, secure for kids and the family dog and absolutely massive. As per description the kitchen is small, but in combination with the conservatory it worked fine. Hopefully we can return at some point in the future."

"After visiting the Alsace a few times now, we wanted to find a property that would provide us walking access to a picturesque village with restaurants and bars, to have a space where we could sit outside and enjoy views, but have privacy, to be able to park our car very close, and to stay in a Gite that provided all the mod-cons and comfort that we are used to. Paquerettes seemed to meet all those requirements from the listing, and didn't disappoint in reality. We enjoyed many breakfasts and...

"We (family of 5 + grandparents) had a lovely stay in Stotzheim. The house is nice and big and Dominique really took her time to give us advicd on what to see and do in the area. The kids loved all the toys and didn’t want to leave at the end of the week! Definitely recommend staying here!"

"We spent a fabulous week in this small but well appointed cabin - 2 adults and 2 kids (13 and 10). We used it as a base to travel the area, going as far away as Baden Baden, Switzerland and closer to Strasbourg and Colmar. Nicole is a lovely host and the welcome gift of local sweet bread was wonderful. Thank you"
