"Mary Villa was comfortable, spacious, clean and easy. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. The house was warm, the beds were comfortable and the location was superb, easy access to restaurants and shops with a car or on foot. We were 12 adults and there were plenty of beds and bathrooms. "

"Avoid this place, I had a horrible experience with this host I stayed at Amaroo Mountaintop Villa for Christmas 2023. The stay itself was pleasant and uneventful. The host (accommodated.com.au) requested a damages bond as part of my stay, which I transferred to them. After my stay, the bond was not returned to me. When I contacted the host, they replied with a series of misleading claims, including (1) claiming the bond was never paid, then (2) re-quoting my original invoice, but with higher...

"Super cute and quirky little cottage with everything we needed for a weekend. The back of the house where the bathroom is is not heated and it was FREEZING. The location was great for getting around but was a bit too close to the main road for my liking. It's also attached to the cottage next door and the neighbour was very noisy."

"Mimosa Cottage is a beautifully appointed, comfortable and warm home. There are so many places in the home to gather together or simply sit alone quietly. The heating is excellent, although the fire ran out of gas while we were there. Nevertheless, the air conditioning kept us quite warm. The kitchen had all we needed (except matches for the fire pit). "We had a lovely 4 day stay at the end of October, we loved the cottage, location and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very comfortable, the only thing missing was a place to hang our cloths, we didn't let this spoil our stay but we would have liked to have seen a wardrobe and drawers ( the wardrobe in the adverting photo isn't there ad it has been replaced by a TV ). We will be happy to recommend this property to family and friends. Paul and Carol"

"Motel is in easy walking distance to all local shops and is located on the main street. We walked to Echo Point lookout, where the three sisters are, and it took us 20min. The Katoomba RSL is within a 10 min walk and has amazing meals. Highly recommend this motel."
