"Pension ist sehr ruhig gelegen und ein gter Ausgangspunkt für viele Wanderungen. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten durch eigenen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich . An den knarzenden Holzboden muss man sich gewöhnen und leider muss man das Wasser lang laufen lassen, bis es warm wird. "

"Great location for innumerable hikes and all kinds of biking. Amazing food, simple but spacious room. No toiletries except for a bar soap. Bathroom tiny but sufficient. A kettle to make coffee/tea would be nice. If driving, go via Hinterhelmsdorf and do not follow google maps as those lead through almost impassable backroads. "

"Location Location Location! Crowning a mountain in stunning wilderness, surrounded by walking paths, quaint villages and ancient castles and churches, it's a beautiful place. Welcomed by the owner, Torsten, who grew up here and whose family ran it before him. As a solo traveller, he went out of his way to make me welcome, even walking down into a local village with me for dinner one night. If you want German culture, landscape, food and hospitality, stay here."

"The entire experience was fantastic and We highly recommend this hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful, she even gave us an emergency number to reach her if we needed it. The dinner was one of the most delicious we have eaten in a hotel. In addition, there are numerous hiking paths leading from the hotel as well as different options, bus, train, or hiking, for traveling to nearby Oybin. "

Die Unterkunft ist zweckmässig ausgestattet und die kleine Küche würde sogar Selbstverpflegung ermöglichen. Das Bad ist modern. "Wir waren 3 Tage hier und haben uns von Beginn an wohlgefühlt, durften in einem wunderschönen Appartement wohnen mit allem Komfort. Frank und Patrice sind exzellente Gastgeber, immer zu einem Gespräch bereit und geben viele Tips für Unternehmungen, Geographie, Geschichte der Gegend. Frühstück ist sensationell 😀 und liebevoll arrangiert. Essen war auch gut. Herzlichen Dank für die fürsorgliche und nette Gastfreundschaft. Astrid und David"

"We loved everything about this property! Our apartment was spacious and the kitchen had practically everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful. We were able to walk to a train station and a ferry to cross the river into Schmilka, which was absolutely adorable by the way! Some of the best hiking we have ever done was in the mountains behind the town! We would definitely stay here again! Ansgar, the caretaker, was attentive and lovely! Thank you for everything!"

"The apartment was spacious and had great views. We stayed for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. However, there are some drawbacks. My biggest complaint was that the windows did not have any screens and we spent the better part of the first evening killing all the critters that had come in the windows. Some we didn't even want to open because we could see so many spiders on the outside of them (up to 10 in one window).There were no fans in the apartment so it was rather stuffy...

"Dear Sir/Madam The guests couldn't check in due to some problem of the connection between the hotel and the system of Hotels.com. We paid the booking in full at the moment of the booking, but the guests couldn't use it and to receive accommodation. "Wir sind planmäßig angereist und mussten feststellen, dass das Objekt bereits vermietet ist. Der Vermieter war nicht erreichbar. Seine Eltern bedauerten das sehr, konnten uns aber nicht weiter helfen. Die Buchung wäre nicht eingegangen. Wir hatten aber die Bestätigung über Fe-Wo direkt bekommen und das Quartier bereits bezahlt. Es wurde uns keine Alternative Unterbringung angeboten oder organisiert. "Everything was fine. Excellent and friendly service Two suggestions to the manager: 1. This category of hotel usually offers tea/coffee facilities in the room- keep this standard 2.The bed was quite uncomfortable- two single mattresses of poor quality . On a king or queen bed- put a matching mattress not two put together "
