"We liked the pet wing and the comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Quiet. Our fajita salads we ordered from the restaurant were not good. They consisted of lettuce, carrots, cucumbers and tough chunks of chicken (nothing even resembling fajitas). The complimentary beer was good and cold though. Easy check in and out. "

"While the property is a bit "rough and rustic," we needed a comfy bed and a hot shower for an overnight when passing through town. It fit the bill. Have to give a shout out to manager Billy, who went out of his way to accommodate us and make sure that our stay was a pleasant one. Thanks, Billy."

"We could not have been happier with our stay! Our hosts, Anne and Matt, went above and beyond decorating the lodge for our arrival, complete with a beautiful Christmas tree and homemade cookies to greet us. We made several gourmet meals in the gorgeous kitchen and had everything that we needed (and more). The appliances and cookware were all top of the line. I even made it a game to try to find something in the kitchen that they had not thought of, and I could not. When my husband cut his hand, I wasn’t the least bit surprised to find a full first aid kit. The lodge was incredibly spacious and expertly designed. Bedding and linens were plentiful and top of the line. The views were absolutely breathtaking, creating the perfect backdrop for our holiday celebrations. Snow falling on Christmas Eve added a magical touch. Given how much work Anne and Matt put into this place, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had arranged the snow just for us!There was a small glitch with one of the appliances during our stay, but the owners were exceptionally responsive and went above and beyond to ensure the issue was resolved quickly and completely. Their attentiveness and care only added to our positive experience. Anne also graciously fielded all of my questions before we arrived.Overall, we could not have been happier with our stay. This lodge provided the ideal setting for a joyful and unforgettable Christmas. We highly recommend the Duck Creek Lodge and can't wait to come back!"

"I stayed here twice during my holiday travels. Ended with the same room. Clean, comfortable and good shower. It was a great deal and no pet fee. Also, had a nice pet area "
