"We stayed here to see my 87 year old granny for the weekend its less than a mile from her home and shopping. It was easy to access, clean, quiet, had netflix, always hot water, cosy beds, the host was kind and available with communication. Deffinatley a great stay"

"House is fine and furnished everything we needed. However, there was No living area downstairs with a TV for the group to enjoy watching TV (ballgames and such) only in in a room upstairs that has 2 sofa beds that we needed for sleeping too. House is dated and needs some small repairs but those repairs did not hamper our stay. Beds are as follows since I found VRBO description confusing. I queen in bedroom downstairs 2 queens in another bedroom downstairs Two twin beds ina very small bedroom...

"This was our 2nd time here. We will continue to make this a yearly vacation spot. The kitchens do need to be stocked better with cooking items, hot pads, etc... "

"Eight16 was the perfect spot for our group of ten adults and three kids. It’s beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The layout is great in that even with a big group, there’s places to go to get some social recharge. The beds were supremely comfortable. Chatting to the host was a delight. Seriously, the only negative I can think of was the lack of closet space. But aside from that 10/10. "

"This was our second time staying at the historical home. This year we had 10 people, last year we had 17 total! There is plenty of space for our family and we love all of the charm and character. The owners are super nice and very responsive. We will definitely be back again! "

"House was clean but had heavy cigarette smoke with the smell of deodorizer trying to cover it up. I don’t complain about much but I hate that smell. Other than that everything worked out."

"The property was good overall, however I have two complaints one there were nails sticking out of the carpet on the steps that my 4 year old found by stepping on them which in turn caused her foot to bleed. And dog poop in the backyard. "

"We enjoyed our stay! The public beach was across the lake from the house, and it was a little noisy (completely understandable, just unexpected). We enjoyed fishing from the dock & hiking some nearby trails!"

"Logging Off was everything I had hoped for. Plenty of beautiful, relaxing space for our family including grands to laugh and enjoy each other!! The home has several large gathering spaces, very large back patio, front yard and a delightful hot tub and game barn. We cooked several meals in a well appointed kitchen.We hope to return in the future! Thank you sharing your beautiful home."
