Open floor plan in kitchen/dining room, hallway, and downstairs bath/bedrooms was very accessible for one family member in a wheelchair! "I messed up our reservation so showed up after 10:00pm on the day I thought I had booked, only to realize we were scheduled for the following day. I called Theresita and she worked everything out for us to check in that night. It saved us from getting off to a terrible start to our trip. the cabin itself is very cool and full of eclectic decor. the kids loved and it and it was very clean and comfortable."

Tammy and Guy are terrific to work with especially their quick action to solve the water problem which only lasted a couple of hours and with no disruption to our stay. "Awesome stay with old friends at beautiful Cherokee Lake. Exceptionally clean and well stocked with every amenity you will need for a great getaway. Delightful inside and out. Complete kitchen supplies, kayaks, a hot tub and everything you will need to have a great getaway. Brought our boat (or you can rent one at the marina nearby) and enjoyed several relaxing days in this excellent cabin. Will definitely be back next year!"

"The house is older, as stated in the description, but well-kept. We were looking for something out of the tourist areas and it was perfect for that. The drive to Gatlinburg wasn't bad, and it's pretty. The town area is really charming. The kids absolutely loved the arcade games. I think it would be very (better) different in the summer when the lake is up, but it was great for us. Just expect the lake to be down in the fall/winter."
