My husband and I had one night to get a way and this was the perfect spot! Beautifully decorated tents with amazingly comfortable bed. We had so much fun getting to know Rainey and Jeff who are the perfect host!!! Fun campfire with all the other campers. We woke to fresh coffee and the most delicious stuffed French toast. We did not want to leave!! we will be back.
We had difficulty finding the place but after that things were fine. I think the host was annoyed that we were running late getting there but I was requested to let her know when we were 15 minutes out which I did - unfortunately we had to drive around for about an extra 5 - 10 minutes because we couldn't locate the place.
The tent we stayed in was well appointed and nice. It was the most comfortable bed we've slept in! Each tent has it's own very clean port-a-potty and outdoor shower (which we didn't use). If only the bullfrogs had an off switch, it would have been a great night of sleep. It was peaceful sitting on the front porch and reading in the afternoon.
Rainy and Jeff are incredibly friendly and nice. It was nice meeting them. Jeff built a nice campfire and Rainy provided delicious homemade marshmallows for roasting.
We were unable to stay for breakfast the next morning. It would have been great to have coffee available when we woke up but with no electricity it's understandable.
I would recommend to anyone staying in the area.
