"My wife and I stayed here for our first getaway in quite sometime and we were not disappointed. The cottage was located in a beautiful, remote location but only 20 min from anything we needed or wanted to do. The accommodations were modern and comfortable. The WiFi worked well. The relatively new gas grill fired up the first time. The hot tub was wonderful. The large front porch and the fire pit were both perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings. "Nice open floor plan, back porch is great for morning coffee and star watching at night, and 'no wi-fi' is a plus in this instance. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. A lot of places don't let you use their fireplace, and I liked that we could, so extra bonus. And you can tell there is some history with this place. I went with wife and kids (8 and 10) and would absolutely recommend."

"Everything was amazing during our stay. Ample sleeping and sitting space and well appointed for our group of 15 celebrating our family Christmas. Peaceful and quiet with nice wooded view and we saw deer at the end of the driveway. The covered patio and Blackstone worked out great for our large breakfast cooking in the rain. Would definitely stay again. "

"My little family and I truly loved this stay. We had a blast fishing, checking out the trails, bonfires, and the hot tub was AMAZING. My favorite thing to do was be able to sit and look out of those beautiful windows in the mornings... plus, Hocking hills state park has so many amazing places to see and it's minutes away. "Lakehaven Cottage has been THE BEST VRBO stay we have ever had. The hosts think of everything you may need for a relaxing stay. They provide excellent homemade buckeyes, cookies and dog treats. They also have some toiletry items should you need them. This is our second stay and we plan to return. Highly recommend!"

"Nice location and quiet. Hot tub was nice, cabin had a fun design that met our needs. We enjoyed staying there. Some cons were regarding maintenence items: some deep scratches in the paint in a few areas, shower faucet that was plumbed wrong makin hot cold and cold hot, kitchen faucet also should be replaced. These were just annoying, but we enjoyed our stay"

"We really enjoyed our stay, it was a really nice house with plenty of space and a great view out the back den with full surround windows. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking in the Hocking Hills State Park. Being close to town where there are a few shopping options made it easy to cook our own meals at the house."
