"I booked this on its proximity to the Christmas market. Thecheck in is through the bistro and the staff could not have been more helpful. They even carried our bags to the lift. The luft is quirky but functional. The room was massive andhad a shabby chic feel. It had a fridge and kettle and a huge bed. Theviews from the windows were amazing and right into the square. "This is a very relaxing place to stay. I rested well as the bed is large and comfortable. The breakfast is ample and delicious - I recommend the hot chocolate in winter. The little terrace is nice with the view of the fish pond. "

"Had a lovely weekend break with my girlfriend and enjoyed every bit of this hotel - my only criticism is that they advertise pool, jaquizzi and spa - but the pool is basically a pond in the garden (with fish in it) and spa is a small out house with tiny sauna in it. They also charge an extra fee for using the spa, which is disappointing considering the amount you spend on the room. We decided against using the spa for that reason. "

"We are a family of four with teenage sons. Looking for somewhere to stay while travelling from North Germany to Calais shuttle and this spot was exactly right. What an amazing discovery! An old, converted farm done up brilliantly into a B & B. Family run. We had the only family room which came with a kitchen and dining area, not something we expected. Our host was fantastic and could not be more helpful. Ample breakfast included, even for a starving teenager! I will definitely stay here again...

"Warmly welcomed in person into the grand and beautiful house. Ample parking. Our hosts assisted with dinner reservations a short walk away and had a delicious breakfast spread the next morning. The family room was very spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable with the softest sheets. It’s evident that the hosts enjoy treating their guests to luxurious little details. I only wish we had the time to spend another night and enjoy the grounds more. "

"This property is what could be described as quirky. It may not be for everyone. The stairs are steep, the wc is off the living room / kitchen and the breakfast of bread and pastries is delivered to the property each morning. The host was friendly and helpful and the accommodation fully suited our needs. We would certainly return."
