First of all Jim and Michelle provide you with much needed information you need to get around town. They make themselves available for any questions and are ready to help. The most relaxing vacation we’ve had!
This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Sierra Blanca cabin and the 3rd time we’ve stayed with Ruidoso Mountain View cabins! Jim and Michele are excellent hosts and the house was complete with everything we needed for our week long stay! They provided us with a lot of info for places to eat and things to do. We did a little bit each day but spent a great deal of our time relaxing on the beautiful deck out back!

Family Weekend Getaway
We have stayed at Jim and Michele's other properties and as always had a great time. The Sierra Blanca Cabin did not disappoint. Very clean and well kept, great views and very comfortable. The wrap around porch is a great place to have your morning coffee and just sit, relax and enjoy the view. My family and I had a great time here and plan to do it again. Thanks

Don't know which is best, the cabin itself or MIchele's and Jim's wonderful hosting? They are so sincerely attentive. Interior of cabin is wonderfully appointed, kitchen has everything, beds very comfortable, quality linen's.....and the view from the deck is downright spiritual. Rent this cabin and you may never rent anywhere else!!

Breathtaking Views
The Sierra Blanca Mountain View - Cabin 2 was excellent. The communication from the host Jim and Michelle were excellent. The cabin is located in a perfect location close to grocery stores and shopping. The home was in excellence condition and clean. Our favorite part of our time there was the view -- simply breathtaking.

memorial weekend getaway
This was our first stay at this property in Ruidoso although we've rented various other properties previously. It has the feeling of being further out of town but is actually located close in. The owners have covered every detail!! The amenities were exemplary and very much appreciated. Because it was a busy weekend in town, we ate in and the kitchen was fully stocked. My favorite spot was on the deck with its' spectacular views in several directions. We hope to return. Definitely 5 star!! Thanks to owners Jim and Michele!

Amazing Home, Views and Owner Communication
This house is beautifully decorated and laid out in a family friendly atmosphere. We took our teen boys with us and they each had a queen or full size bed and their own rooms. The wrap around balcony provides the most beautiful views of the mountains. This house is ready to entertain and comes with all the comforts of home. The owners were quick to respond to our questions and provided a detailed home manual to explain all the gadgets. We will definitely be using this home again!

Birthday Weekend
Second time staying here, and we love it. So comfortable and relaxing. Favorite part is playing games and sitting out on the deck. The only thing I would say is that the blinds really need to be changed or upgraded. Still missing blinds from the first time we stayed there. Since the living room is completely wrapped in windows, it’s just a tiny bit spooky that we don’t have privacy. Even adding curtains would help, so we could cover the windows. All in all it is equipped nicely, and we enjoy.

Beautiful, well maintained property
One of our best stays ! It is obvious that owners Jim & Michele have worked hard and put a lot of thought into the home to ensure your comfort. We loved the gas fireplace, fabulous views of snow capped mountains, and privacy on the quiet dead-end street. Ruidoso's Lighted Christmas Parade did not disappoint and we enjoyed hiking and renting a UTV to explore the Lincoln National Forest. A drive up to Ski Apache and windy point was beautiful and we saw wild horses, deer, and elk everywhere ! We also went to The Flying J Ranch's benefit dinner & show. Shopping opportunities are plentiful and we came home with several treasures from local shops. A weather tip for those from warmer climates: dress in layers and bring plenty of lotion & lip balm ! Humidity is very low and temperatures can vary wildly from the valley to the mountains and from the sunshine to the shade.

Warm, welcoming and cozy
I have stayed at a lot of STR's and this one by far has the BEST view ever! I'm not joking when I say that either. The main living area was nothing but sliding glass doors that open up to outside deck and it is just beautiful. The home had everything we needed and then some. The beds were comfy, I was worried about all the windows and it not being warm enough but I was wrong, it was plenty warm in there and we even started the fireplace up one day which was nice. Parking was perfect, the location was decent. We had no problems whatsoever and we would definitely stay here again. Jim and Michelle were in constant contact and made sure we had everything we needed so the communication was great. My Daughter even left a shoe behind that they found and are going to be mailing it back to me. Highly Recommend this property!!
