"Quaint village house perfectly placed for visiting stunning local scenery and sights. Gite was very comfortable and the owners, Sarah and Claude, were very friendly and helpful. All this helped to make it a wonderful holiday. The weather was pretty good too!"

"Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Frédérique et Jacques. Un logement très propre, bien équipé et décoré avec goût. Il est bien situé, nous avons pu profiter des différents paysages de la région : lac du Bourget, lac d'Annecy, différentes gorges, cascades et points de vue à couper le souffle. Si nous avons l'occasion de revenir dans cette belle région, nous y reviendrons sans hésiter ! 😉"

"We had two really excellent weeks at the apartment in the house in St Martin de Bavel. Although we enjoyed some agreeably quiet relaxing times in the garden looking out into the dramatic vista of Grand Colombier with a cold glass of local wine, we spent most of our time out and about. The surrounding countryside is dramatic, the ViaRhona cycle route is unchallenging (unless you do it as we chose to in 37° heat in which case it was extremely challenging) and there are many large and small towns...

"L’appartement est agréable, bonne literie et très propre. Toutefois, je me permets de vous proposer quelques suggestions : - Du vis à vis, il faudrait des rideaux ou des stores, - Manque de décoration au mur pour égayer un peu - Manque de vaisselle (bols à déjeuner, tasses à café) - Une chaise en plus serait la bienvenue et une petite table basse devant la télévision aussi - La télévision est fixée beaucoup trop bas"

"Large property within a quiet Village next to the Lake. The layout is a bit unusual but there are lots of rooms out houses and space. The stairs are probably not ideal for families or elderly people. We found a few broken items which suggest that the up keep isn’t as good as you would expect, a few broken chairs, broken glass, and the Kettle didn’t work on arrival but it was replaced quickly once we notified the property manager. We don’t speak French and the property manager had limited English...
