"This out of the way Parador is perfect if you want a quiet stay with stunning views. It's an older property and some of the fixtures/fittings in the bathroom are tired but on the plus side - shower pressure was good and everything was very clean and we had a great nights sleep. The resturant served tasty local food - very nicely prepared and presented. The staff were attentive and friendly - we would visit again if in the area."

"Overall we though the place was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures are generally very accurate however the one of the front of the house implies a bit more space than there actually is. Space for one 4x4 (or car). In the Vrbo ad we can't see any suggestion of when the communal pool is open (late June?) so not available in May. There is only a 2or3 seat sofa for a house that sleeps six (as shown in the pictures). The biggest issue for us was the lack of kitchen utensils (eg: no wooden spoon, no bread knife etc.) Also it was very dark in the sink/cooker area which may explain why the plates were not clean when we arrived. One of the bulbs in the cooker hood may have failed but this wouldn't have helped over the sink! Again we would recommend Fidalsa just be aware!"

"Goyo is a fabulous host and the house is absolutely beautiful. It is really well equipped and feels like a home instead of a holiday rental. The terrace is fabulous and the BBQ and it’s so quiet and peaceful. The surrounding area is stunning too. Shopping can be done in Cervera or Guardo. The former smaller and prettier. Could not recommend this place any higher/ 10/10!"

"Fantastic welcome on a very hot afternoon. Couple of flights of stairs up to the room. Fantastic view of the river below from the room. No aircon but super quiet and pleasant with the large window open during the stay."

"We chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK. Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Lively market the day we arrived (Tuesday). Be aware that self-parking is actually free on-street parking but area seems very secure so we left most of our extensive contents in car and had no problem. Also,hotel restaurant non-functioning so sought dinner in town and nowhere open until 9pm. But several decent restaurants and very reasonably priced bars available at that time. Overall, the hotel was clean and very modern and service was good with a decent, buffet breakfast served. Would use again. "
