"Don't let the lack of photos of the front of the property put you off. True it's in a very narrow side street and the outlook is far from pretty, but it's in a very convenient location. Inside there's everything you need, and the property is well cared for. It's literally a couple of minutes' walk to the sea. Shops, pubs, restaurants all handy. "We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. "Fabulous stay, to celebrate our mum turning 60. Really clean beautiful house with plenty of space even with no outdoor space, it accommodated our 6 adults and 2 kids perfectly. Would 100% stay here again in the heart of Filey with only a short walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Loved it "

"Perfect location next to the pub which does fantastic food. Very high end cottage in both style & comfort, very clean too & having a courtyard for the dogs was great as we could sit outside with them. Would definitely stay again. "

"The apartment was very well fitted out, the staff were lovely very helpful, it is a little far from town and took us a while to find the local supermarket, maybe some instructions on how to work the job and parking was an issue, we went out for the day and had to park quite a walk away, but on the whole we loved it and were very comfortable 😊"

Vintage hotel with excellent spa and pool

"This hotel was built in 1844 and the spa is on the lowest floor, but it’s comfortable, the pool looks lovely and the jacuzzi is huge. We also liked the steam room, 2 saunas and ice cave with a swirl of cool mist as you walk in. It’s Victorian in feel, lots of tiles but great for what we wanted. Our double standard room with a sea view was spacious and the view spot on. Staff friendly and efficient."

Good location, good hotel

"Good location both for railway station and event venue (luckily climbing the hills should be good for my waistline! Not a criticism, as the hills are unavoidable.). Aside from that, hotel is fine, decent and comfortable - have stayed here before, no doubt will again. "

"Fantastic overnight stay in the Bollinger room - with the most comfortable bed imaginable. We ate in the pub in the evening and got talking to the owner about Huddersfield pigeons and their (lack of) merits. Food brilliant - we chose a chicken and a lamb dish. Beautiful. Mediterranean cheesecake - pesto jus with olives and roasted tomatoesit it was not. Turns out it was Dark Fruit Berries !!! Super flavour. And sticky toffee pudding to die for ! Lovely breakfast in the morning. Plenty varied choice. Would we stay again ? Absolutely. Most definitely. Thank you for a great break. 🙂👏👍 "
