"Beautifully renovated house with lovely dog walks around the area. The local restaurant (walking distance) is also excellent and you can buy gifts at their farm shop. We'd happily stay again. The breakfast staff were delightful and attentive. "

"What a gorgeous location with exquisite facilities. The owner was extremely helpful, going out of his way to give us a private tasting and tour of his balsamic vinegar production. I want to return and stay longer. I highly recommend!"

"Giovanni was an amazing host and an excellent chef. The apartment suite was comfortable and simply outstanding. We had terrific nights sitting on our private patio. The swimming pool was absolutely welcoming. We highly recommend the property"

"This place is amazing. Second time back here and just as good as the first time around - no better place in the Bologna area for a relax - and the bioorganic pond is a dream. The wine is also divine and well priced. The only thing they could improve on is ensuring there is always a table at the restaurant for any guests as if the guests don’t actively book a table, then it’s unlikely you’ll get a table on walking in at this popular spot - very busy!"

"We loved our stay at Quattro Castella! The property was exactly as described and so much more. It was peaceful and relaxing and perfect after a day of exploring the area. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed for preparing our meals. We loved the living room area and spent our evenings talking about our day and planning the next. We used the info provided by our host to plan our trips and meals. Such a perfect stay. Would definitely stay here again!"

Barbara (the host) could not have been a better host - she is so accommodating to everything we asked, her home is breathtaking and we are planning on returning to visit! "Super charismatic owners and a cosy bed&breakfast, we were welcomed very well, they showed us our room which by the way was beautiful, in a vintage vibe, clean, lovely scent and with a large bathroom. As we were not very hungry to eat out we had an antipasti platter at the inn itself with wine and there was a violet marmalade that was divine, first time I ate it and I thought it was the best combination with chunks of parmesan cheese, the owners always made sure that everything was alright,...

"The views from this property are absolutely breathtaking! While the property is not near any major sights, it is peaceful and beautiful. Fernanda was very responsive to my questions and her husband assisted us in guiding us around the area to point out places to eat and shop with. The pool was enjoyed by the family and we also also had a fabulous dinner grilling outside on the property. The pictures shown on this sight are accurate."

"We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."
