"Great stay in a perfect location. Staff were lovely and breakfast was great. There was a fire alarm at night but it was a false alarm and staff did their best to clarify quickly. Room was clean and really comfy"

The concierge helped us get round trip tix on the daily Hurtigruten/Havila fjord cruise (part of their Norwegian coastal journey has them come into Alesund in the AM and then go down the fjord and back to Alesund that evening). "

"Loved the property! Our king room on a higher floor had an amazing view of the town and water. View was just as good from our window as it was from that steep hike you can do to overlook the town. Ceiling to floor windows. We left curtains open all night it was so pretty. Staff was great. Friendly and nice Only criticism is parking. Had to parallel park on the hilly streets and move the car by like 7am or pay a lot for hotel lot. But parking in Norway at hotels is expensive and rare"
