Could have been more welcoming
For a full week Christmas family booking it was disappointing to arrive at a house without a single Christmas decoration, one rubbish bag, and almost empty hand-soap dispensers, washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs. An armchair had to be propped up on books because it had a broken leg, and the wifi wouldn’t allow streaming on the TV until the owners brought round boosters to connect to the hub on their side of the house. But the house is nice, it was very clean, the linen was good and the heating worked. A more personal, hospitable approach and a better eye for detail from the owners would help.
