"You will like this property if you value a nice host, peace and quiet, and gorgeous views, with easy walking distance to the beach and the very good Tides restaurant. The home is comfortable, easy to access, and just as advertised. If you are looking for brand new, high end amenities, you might want to look elsewhere. "This place is great! Close to Salem and just a train ride to Boston. Quiet neighborhood and close to local stores and restaurants. I stay there with my husband, Aunt and cousin all in our seventies. This is not a place for seniors or people with disabilities. The entrance you have stairs to the porch and steep stairs to the the apartment which made it hard for us. I don’t know if this is normal for this part of the country.But overall the place was nice and well stocked. Suggestion: "

"Terrible!!! We are a group of six that booked this over a month ago. Never received check in instructions so we called Isabel the host the day of our trip . She said she had nothing to do with Vrbo and no listed properties. We called Vrbo and they could not get through to her. Meanwhile we had no place to stay and had to get a hotel at higher price. Still waiting for Vrbo to contact me about our refund Monica Z"

"Beautiful, cozy stay near the ocean. Beautiful views a short walk away. Because of the weather we didn't get to use much of the outdoor space, but several nice chairs outside. Felt pretty private, separate entrance from rest of house. The grill was a nice touch, but nowhere to sit and eat inside (other than the bed) so we didn't get a chance to cook. Thanks for the lovely stay!"

"We greatly enjoyed staying at this property! The two bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen and living room had everything we needed, the place was spotless, and the back patio was adorable. We could not have been more pleased with the location - safe, quiet street, and walkable to the T, shops, groceries, CVS, restaurants, and green spaces. The host was incredibly communicative and we were well informed throughout our entire visit. We would most definitely stay again!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my getaway at this VRBO. I felt that it had everything I needed. I’m familiar with the area, so I knew what was available there. The only thing I would mention is that the refrigerator didn’t seem particularly cold. Otherwise, everything was great and I would love to stay again!"

My recommendations would be to have a tv in the first floor living area and tvs in the bedrooms as well. Also some kind of curtain or frosted glass in the upstairs bathroom for privacy, since it looks right out onto the Salem State fields."

"Super unique! Very walkable to all the fun stuff downtown. I give this place 4.5 stars. My only beef is its terribly expensive for a 1 bathroom and the living room is cool, but uncomfortable. Great for insta pics and all that, but if you think you're gonna unwind an watch a scary movie its not gonna happen. The couches are more decorative. Big kitchen with everything that you'd have at home. And whoever was the decorator...the detail is impeccable. "
