"Quaint, cozy cottage with all the amenities you could need. The view out the front windows overlooked grape vines - beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Amazing attention to detail - little things like, fresh bread on arrival; lots of brochures on walking trails, biking etc; hand-made list of things happening in the area during our stay; little bowls for jewellery on the bedside tables - just to name a few. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway. Highly recommend."

"We loved our stay at Mataro cottage. Communication was excellent and we were given the check-in details a couple hours early to let us know the property was ready. There was a lovely welcome gift in the fridge which was a small cheese and dried fruit plate. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped and the pantry was extremely generously stocked with tea, coffee, glad wrap, alfoil, salt, pepper, oil- pretty much all of the things that make life a bit easier when you are travelling and don’t want...

"Very impressed with renovation and presentation with many little touches such as continental breakfast ingredients, books and brochures on the area, high standard of fixtures and fittings. An ideal base for our activities including gliding at Stonefield, meet with friends at Tanunda and a few wineries. Very relaxing spot."
