"The house was secluded so that was a huge plus. Plenty of parking as well if you have multiple cars. Communication with host was lacking until the week of the stay. That aside, very nice stay."

"We came to Michigan from Ohio because our son got married on Mackinac Island. The location of this rental was perfect. Just a short drive to the ferry we all had a wonderful time. The view was ANAZING!"

"The house was very spacious and exceeded our expectations. Great location to restaurants and ferry. No major issues that needed addressing with host during our stay. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have a grill for use during stay and a bit nicer / more comfortable deck furniture for enjoying the nice sized deck and views. Otherwise great property and would definitely consider staying again. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The lake is "Across the street" but its essentially very, very close which my family loved. It isn't a sandy beach, its all rocky but still fun to skip rocks on and swim a little bit. We all had water shoes which made it easy to walk on the rocks. The sunsets were AMAZING on the lake. The house was clean and was stocked with everything we needed. We made several day trips to the UP from there and it was a good location. The only complaint we had was the...

"It's good, I had trouble with the stove. I think it needs heavier pans to get the proper temp. I pushed down on the pan and it worked better. A razor blade can works just slide it across the black stIn.slide"

"House was very clean and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The only problem was not hearing back from our host. I had sent her a message a week before asking if there was a coffee pot or Keurig to bring pods but never got a reply. After arriving we tried our absolute best to get the WiFi but it would not connect. I sent her another email with no reply the entire 4 days we were there "

"Really impressed. Surpassed my expectations. The property is updated, the carpets more modern than similar hotels, and the room is clean with two large sinks. Definitely updated. Love the the bigger pump style toiletry bottles, warm water, swimming pool and the best part, the large room we stayed in! Very pleased. My teen girls are very impressed. The only downside is because it's a tourist town and it's off season, many restaurants were closed. Dixie Saloon was the only restaurant that was open. Not the hotel's fault. Will definitely stay here again next time around. I'm looking forward to breakfast!"
