"This house and grounds is made for families, it is spacious both inside and out, with good sized bedrooms and open plan living areas. "Our third stay at this villa and the first with Fabrice the new owner, who has made numerous improvements. It was good before and is now excellent. The weather for our second week was wet and chilly, so could have done with the pool being heated, but understand this is one of the plans for next year. We will definitely try to go back again."

"Lovely little propert with a larger than average pool. We were 2 adults and a dog so had plenty garden area for the dog to run around chasing hares amongst other critters. From the verandah we saw deer, kites, hares, frogs, bats, hoopae and an abundance of other birds. Supermarkets, vets shops restaurants all within about a 15 min drive. Paul was a great host."

The river nearby offered even more more great fun and activities. "Large house very well set up for comfortable enjoyment, especially the kitchen was well suited for people who like to cook. It was exciting to be surrounded by vineyards while harvest was in process. Imagine sitting by your pool while a grape picking truck up the hill moves about the vineyard picking the grapes - fabulous! Maureen was very helpful with any questions. We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "
