Locally there are some great restaurants, the hotel will advise on these - one restaurant which really has a nice low key, yet a high quality standard of local food is called Campagne. "A very convenient location for accessing the amazing La Citè and also the city centre areas like la Bastide. Lovely view of the castle easy access to local restaurants of a mixed quality. Very compact room but well laid out for functionality. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. The spiral staircase may be an issue for some travelers however."

"This was my 3rd year in Toulouse for the International Organ Festival but 1st time in Hotel le Capitole. The Staff could not have been more helpful & friendly. I had a small room on the 3rd floor, the bathroom was tiny but adequate & my room was cleaned daily. Location is ideal, easy to reach all major sites on foot (although Public Transport is excellent - there is also a free circular bus service which runs every 15 minutes & goes to various parts of the City) I look forward to staying here...
