"The house was very modern and new. The room arrangements were good for our group. One bedroom en-suite was on the ground floor which was nice. The house is outside the bustle of Caen but an easy drive to get there. Plus, grocery stores and restaurants were just a few minutes away. Because the area is new there was a lot of road construction with new roads not showing accurately on our GPS. As a result, we had a hard time finding our way in and out of the area during our stay. "This property is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. From the demi-moat, to the gazebo, to the gardens, to the grand stairway and high ceilings, this place comes straight out of a fairytale. AND although it is off the beaten path with views of green rolling hills, it is ALSO within 20 mins walking distance of downtown Bayeux. Will absolutely visit again. "
