"Wonderful communication before and during the stay. Beautiful historical building renovated tastefully and comfortably. Fantastic friendly service from the team and in particular Mika. "This was a gorgeous, quite, and very comfy spot to stay. The internet was great. I worked in the rooms so was happy that is felt spaceous and had a gorgeous view of the water and the yard. There were a few shops within walking distance. It was a great central place to stay since I needed to drive to several places within an hour drive around the area."

"Enjoyed our family stay on “Hortensia Eiland”. Cottage was nicely appointed with everything needed to do small meals. Took full advantage of the farm fresh eggs, yogurt, jam and milk. We felt like we experienced the Holland countryside experience to its fullest!"

"We had planned to stay closer to Amsterdam but came across “Chill Out” and so glad we booked this beautiful property. As a host Odette is superior plus! Her warm welcome, attention to every detail to enhance the enjoyment of our stay so appreciated. From a welcome mock tail in the fridge, to daily treats of fruit and sweets was so thoughtful. She also took the time to help us navigate parking in Amsterdam which is challenging. Best to leave your car at the train station. Much easier. So glad we...

"Every think was excellent. Just check in was not on time. I didn't have exact address of the room and the hist didn't was available on checking time. So I had to go to another hotel for afew hours and pay 26 euro. After 3 hours host send me the chech in details."

"The place is very clean and recently restrucured. This was great. But... It was impossible to close the front door of the appartment so anybody could come in. This was a very unsafe situation (there is a lock on the door of the bedroom though). The window leaked, the rain flooded the windowsill and dripped on the floor. The blanket was too thin for winter and there were no extra blancket and the heating didn't work well so it was very .flooded my "

Wir sind zusammen mit unserem Hund angereist und waren oft in der näheren Umgebung spazieren. Der Strand war menschenleer und war perfekt dafür. Die Wohnung an sich ist im Endeffekt nur ein Raum wo sich alles abgespielt hat. Die Toilette war unten separat (etwas eng). Die Vermieterin (Annelies) war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. "Great location near Rotterdam Central station. Check in was efficient, given a detailed help list for our stay. Room was clean & tidy and provided many facilities except a microwave. Advised that no cleaning would be done, however extra towels, waste bin bags are available if asked for. The room was extremely quiet even though there was demolition of an office block next door to Premier Suites. Gym area was acceptable. Wi-fi good. "

"This is the second time I've stayed at this property, and i enjoyed the stay just as much as the first stay. The staff were all so friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. I visited Rotterdam for the ASOT weekend festival. The hotel is less than a ten minute walk from Centraal Station, and within mins of great bars and shops. I'll be visiting again in 2026, and will definitely be booking a stay at the Bilderberg Park. "
