Awesome spot
We had a fantastic time. The place is a bit tired, especially the bathroom, but generally we had a great time. The outlook can't be beat. Nice and quiet, but just a short drive to town. We'll be back.

OK, but could be better
the property is let down in a few areas. It felt like our stay was right on the back of another group, andthe cleaners didn't do a proper job. There were a lot of cobwebs in the rooms, dirty linen in the closet of one bedroom and a dirty pillow case in the bathtub. There was no dishwashing liquid and only two toilet rolls to be found. The recycling bin was full and the rubbish not far from it. The property would also benefit from a bit of TLC. The pots and pans were below standard - badly scratched nonstick pans, or the pans that weren't nonstick being clearly misused and burnt to the point where you will never get them clean. Only one half of the BBQ would light, it didn't even seem that gas was flowing on the grill side. Not that it made any difference - it was so filthy that I wouldn't have dreamed of cooking on it. The deck was rotten in places and the outdoor furniture needs a clean, if not replacing. It is also worth noting that water quality in the lake should be checked if you think you might enjoy a swim in the lake. No one's fault, but our visit was timed with toxic algal blooms in the lake.

Lovely view
Amazing lake view & handy location with a walking track at the back, house was warm & sunny. Nice to have kayaks to use. Bathrooms need a deep clean, bit of mould on showers & in the bedrooms & lots of spiders. BBQ didn't work, burners broken? Dryer didn't work either, kept stopping, a clothes rack would be handy for rainy days. Kitchen & living area was nice & spacious, comfy couches. Overall a nice stay, just needs a couple of improvements.

Beautiful lakefront stay
The property has the most beautiful view and with a bike/walking trail just out the gate, it was lovely to walk along the lake in the mornings then grab a coffee from the local cafe (which was surprisingly really good). The house itself is perfect for families with toddlers, as it isn’t filled with nick-nacks or other sharpe objects. And the children’s rooms were great with block out blinds for day naps. The use of the kayak was also an added bonus. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would stay again.

Family Holiday
Great little spot for a family holiday. Good space in the house, heating was superb and the kayaks were an added bonus. House is fitted out well with everything that was needed. Blind in the kids room needs fixing as cords are dangerous.

Short winter stay
Great spot on the lake to enjoy the morning and afternoon view. We were out doing activities in the daytime - it's an easy enough journey into Rotorua for these, and close to Skyline and a few other attractions. Had all we needed for our stay - good kitchen amenities, and washer and dryer in garage. Recliner chairs in living room are very comfortable and was nice to get the fire going in the evening - logs on site but worth getting some kindling and firelighters to make it easier.

House in a handy location
Good house for families and kayaks were a plus! Its in a handy location / very close to attractions such as the Agrodome, the Luge and the adventure activities. Kristin also was very easy to deal with and answered my questions very promptly.
