Wonderfully relaxing!
The cottages were wonderfully private with beautiful, serene views of the countryside. Bathroom and lounge suites could have been cleaner, but were otherwise fine.The Broken View Cabernet merlot wine was delicious, and we would have liked to have bought some as well, but couldn't find any at the local wine outlets. Thank you for a totally relaxing stay, we hope to come back soon.

We had an amazing stay at Broken View Estate. The communication from the beginning from Kim was amazing. providing details and maps on how to locate our cabin on the property. The cabins are very well maintained and clean. You have everything you could possibly need in a kitchen. The hosts provided a free bottle of wine and breakfast needs. We had everything from eggs to bacon to toast. The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. You can sit outside and enjoy the views of the dam while having a nice glass of wine. The hosts were very quick to sort out a TV cable issue we had, which was greatly appreciated it. After a long drive, we were looking forward to relaxing. The cabin has a spa in the bedroom, which is a nice way to un-wine after a long day. The cabins also have a fireplace which would be amazing during the winter months. The wineries are at your door step so highly recommend this hidden gem! Thank you to the hosts. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in cottage 5 which had amazing views over the dam and mountains on one side and vineyards the other. As the property is not within walking distance of restaurants the kitchenette was well equipped for meals. The separate bedroom was a plus. Plenty of wildlife on the property and very friendly ponies.

Ideal for couples. The villa is very well finished with all the features for a comfy and cosy stay. The kitchen was complete with everything for breakfast which is perfect for chilly winter mornings. I will definately stay again.

Incredibly tranquil & serene & perfect for a total getaway out of the city. We opened the front door to find two gorgeous Shetland ponies on our doorstep. Hundreds of kangaroos hopping around as well. Definitely a property where you feel one with nature. Highly recommend!

The property is set in an idyllic location for just peace and quiet and away from the "hustle" of the wineries circuit though close enough if you want to imbibe. Cottage 5 was directly across from the small lake and we were visited regularly by the ponies and birdlife. Amazing night sky just added to a "zen-like" week-end. Only down side is the property is just a little frayed around the edges but minor whinge! Kim the owner was on point with her communication and advice.

If you want peace .
Just a quiet place to stay . Nothing but silence . Kangaroos wandering through at sunset as your watching the sun go down . Ideal place to relax after a long day driving around the vineyards .

Quiet surroundings, comfortable facilities, private, convenient location to vineyards and restaurants and other attractions, the few kilometres of dirt road was only a small problem, well stocked supply of breakfast items, operation of air conditioning was a challenge.

Romantic getaway for couples
Off the beaten path, the Broken View Estate offers easy access to the Hunter Valley and all its attractions while providing an escape from the hustle and bustle of the tourists in the heart of the Hunter. Very comfortable for couples, great facilities. Definitely recommend! No contact with hotel staff, as you are given an access code prior to arrival. This was absolutely fine, however!

Great location and huge spa
This is a lovely place to stay and the owners have clearly gone to a lot of effort. There were some minor issues but not enough to make you look elsewhere. The location is perfect, close to all the major vineyards, and you are given loads of helpful information if you want to make the most of your stay (although it is also perfect just to hide away from the world for a little while!) The spa was a big plus ..most hotels you can't even get a bath so this was really appreciated... and it was nicely presented. The bottle of wine and breakfast goodies were very much appreciated - especially when you arrive late and don't want to go to a shop that evening. Definitely recommend cabin 5 if you can get it!

Broken View Estate was exactly what we were yold it would be; a relaxing and rejuvenating escape for couples. The full kitchen was great and the breakfast goodies in the fridge was a nice touch. Throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning
