"It was a very unusual stopover for me in that I had a car accident less than 1km from the house after driving 1100km that day from northern France (beware Google maps satnav as it suggested I should turn around when I was on the right road, which effectively led to the accident). "This is a very old, but quaint property. The room was large and the en suite bathroom was also large. We arrived just after a snow storm. The village and surrounding area was beautiful. The house was almost as warm as te welcome and friendliness of Mario the owner. "

"Devo ammettere che non avevo la minima idea dell'esistenza di Gombola, un luogo magico, quasi mistico. Ho trascorso un weekend all'insegna della natura e della tranquillità più assoluta. L'ostello è pulitissimo e l'accoglienza è stata ottima. Ritornerò sicuramente, magari questa estate sperando di poter assistere anche agli spettacoli del gruppo teatrale che ha in gestione l'ostello. The accommodations were top of the line and the area was very interesting! A very special place - which included the happy surprise of a great bistro next door.
